The Pty Ltd has been thriving since 2012, with the school aspect flourishing since 2017. The formal school registration was secured in 2021, underlining our commitment to providing accredited education.

Our teachers are not only qualified but also registered with the South African Council of Educators (SACE) (sace.org.za), ensuring we meet the highest standards of teaching excellence. Some of our educators bring over 20 years of teaching experience to our classroom environments.

We take pride in having learners of remarkable calibre, such as the Royal International Miss South Africa Pre-Teen 2023 – 2024, Judo Champ in the 2022 SA Judo Championships as well as 2nd Place winner in the Africa BMX cycling Championships 2024.
Extracurricular Achievements

We recognize and announce achievements in extracurricular activities and sports, further encouraging our learners’ diverse talents. We have learners that competed and excelled in SA competitions and championships, sports and other activities; Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Karate, Mini-Trampoline, Gymnastics, Pianio, Fishing, Speedsoft, Chess, Dancing, Beauty Pageants, RACA and BMX cycling. We take pride in Ambulanté learners that compete and excel in extramural activities, sport and culture.

Excellence in Chess

Ambulanté Chess Club is an integral part of our curriculum from Grade R through 12, included within the school fees. Our learners participate in inter-school chess tournaments and our facilities can host these events. This initiative underscores our focus on developing strategic thinking and sportsmanship among our learners.

Reading

In the foundation phase, selected teachers have undergone additional training to support learners during classes in improving their reading skills, ensuring each child can confidently explore the world of books.

Hearts Program

 Every Friday, our Hearts Program offers a variety of activities, included in the school fees, designed to help learners unwind after a productive week. This program is as enjoyable for teachers as it is for learners, promoting a balanced approach to education.

After Care Services

We offer after care not only for our learners but also for children from other schools. This includes homework assistance; ensuring tasks are completed before playtime. Spelling tests are conducted on Thursdays as preparation for Friday tests, emphasizing continuous learning even outside regular school hours. Outdoor play is encouraged, weather permitting, fostering a healthy balance between academics and physical activity.

Holiday Care

Our aftercare extends into the holidays, offering stimulating and fun activities based on a planned holiday program, with ample outdoor play to promote physical well-being and social skills.

Physical Activities Facilities

Our playground is equipped with soccer nets, netball/basketball hoops, and trampolines, supporting a diverse range of physical activities to keep our learners active and engaged.

Arts and Culture Participation

Annually, our learners participate in the Randfontein Arts & Culture Association events (RACA), achieving commendable success and showcasing their talents beyond academic achievements.

Small Class Sizes

We maintain small class sizes, usually 12-13 learners per class, ensuring personalized attention and tailored educational experiences up to Grade 12.

CAPS Curriculum

We teach the CAPS syllabus in both Afrikaans (KABV) and English, adhering to a well-recognized educational framework that most people are familiar with as CAPS.

Therapeutic Support

External therapists visit our school to work with learners on an as-needed basis, with arrangements and payments handled directly by parents, ensuring specialized support when necessary.

Concession Arrangements

We facilitate concessions, such as readers and scribes, for exams and tests. These arrangements require parent coordination and are self-funded.

Intervention Procedures

Our Parent and Child Support and Intervention Program (PACSI) address any incidents or concerns involving learners, parents, and teachers collectively, fostering a supportive and responsive community environment.

Communication

Communication within Ambulanté is highly valued, with our staff functioning like a family, offering mutual support and collaboration, including with our after care personnel. Any issues or concerns are immediately communicated to parents, emphasizing the importance of transperancy and open lines of communication. A weekly newsletter and the Telegram application keep our community informed about school activities and arrangements, ensuring everyone are connected and up-to-date. Individual communication is possible by phoning the school, WhatsApp, Email and face to face meetings with our staff. Each learner also has a Communication book for communication.

Discipline

We adhere to strict disciplinary rules and procedures, as outlined in our Code of Conduct. This structure ensures a respectful and orderly environment conducive to learning.

Management and Structure

The owner, oversee the financial and operational aspects of the school, while our principal manages academic affairs and daily tasks. The principal is supported by three department heads for Foundation phase, Intermediate phase and Senior phase We also have a designated head for our Aftercare program. Together we form a cohesive and effective team. We believe there is a solution for every problem, which is why we have procedures in place for any challenges or crises.

Ease of Transition

Being a registered school, our learners smoothly transition into mainstream and larger private schools, showcasing the recognized quality of our education.

Security

Our access control is stringent, featuring a response unit for security, neighbourhood watch group membership, and surveillance cameras inside classrooms and outside. Teacher supervision in classrooms and on the playground, along with prompt incident response, ensures a safe environment.

Recognition and Awards

Quarterly recognitions are given to top performers as well as awards at the year’s end. Every learner receives a certificate highlighting their areas of excellence and achievement. Grade R learners participate in an official graduation ceremony at the end of each year.

Each year, we appoint school leaders for the following academic year, fostering leadership skills and responsibility among our learners.

Grade R (Reception Year)
